I had a very pleasant weekend in Rome staying at Palazzo Ripetta. Everything was perfect during my stay (stayed for 2 nights), the staff is very helpful, polite and provided immediate responses to every information I needed both about my stay and about the city. My room was in the first floor, in a very quiet and relaxing location, with a view to an elegant and cosy cloister. I had dinner and a brunch on Sunday at the restaurant of the hotel (San Baylon Restaurant) which was great! The hotel is at a walking distance to Piazza di Spagna, Piazza del Popolo, Villa Borghese and of the Terrazza del Pincio that offers an amazing view of the city. Definitely, I will come back to Rome (as it was my first time in the city) and this hotel will be my choice again next time. Congratulations to all the staff and, please, keep up this distinct and luxury standard!

We went to Rome for New Year celebrations. The hotel looked lovely with it's christmas lights when we arrived, we wwere greeted warmly, Alan on reception was exceptional. Friendly, professional, arranged a room for us even though we arrived early. The room was a good size, clean, spacious and nicely appointed. Bathroom was also a good size with a large walk in shower. New Years' Eve Dinner was nicely done, considering there were a lot of people, the food was hot and promptly served by the many waiting staff. There was also a sommelier on hand to advise on the wines. Breakfast had a good selection, Buffet, as well as cooked. Well done Palazzo Ripetta, you far outclassed the last Relais and Chateaux we stayed in.

Palazzo Ripetta is a newly renovated and superb five star hotel that Rome needed. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed by Fausta Gaetani, with a large bathroom stocked with Ortigia products. Comfortable beds, cleanliness and a homey feeling made us look forward to return to our room every day. The staff is excellent, very welcoming and with an incredible attention to detail. Special mention for Inna who noticed that it was my birthday and sent up a small cake to our room. These are the kinds of gestures that make people come back.

The property is a brand new refurbished hotel from the 70s, opened in a former cathedral. It has a blend of modernist - art deco design, with exceptional attention to detail. But by far, its greatest strength is the people: an exceptionally profesional, kind and welcoming personnel, the likes of which I haven’t met in a hotel in Europe for a very long time. From the front door bell boy to the concierge they all make you feel special.

The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the city centre yet in a tranquil area, just off a main square. The hotel is very comfortable, clean, relaxing and ideal for a short city break. As the weather was fine, the hotel garden - courtyard provided the perfect ambience, for an outdoor snack/ lunch several times during our short stay. The staff were very attentive, helpful, polite and professional.
